The Shakopee Mdewakanton Sioux Community (SMSC) has recently announced a collaboration with LaunchPad Golf to establish the company’s first golf facility in the United States. The new facility will be located in Prior Lake, adjacent to the Mystic Lake Casino Hotel.
The two-story building, spanning over an area of 25,000 square feet, will comprise a 160,000-square-foot driving range equipped with cutting-edge technology, 40 heated golf suites, two bars, and a full-service restaurant. With a capacity to accommodate over 500 people, the facility promises to provide a unique golfing experience to its visitors. The construction is expected to commence in the coming spring, and the facility is set to open its doors to the public in mid-2025.
“We are excited to welcome LaunchPad Golf to the U.S. and expand our tribe’s golf offerings,” said SMSC Chairman Cole Miller. “This year-round golf entertainment enterprise will provide an incredible experience for guests of all skill levels. It will be an excellent complement to our premium golf course, The Meadows at Mystic Lake.”
